Valencia + Bioparc Excursion

This trip from Castellón de la Plana offers a chance to explore one of the largest Spanish cities, Valencia, and immerse yourself in the diverse flora and fauna at its renowned Bioparc.

Excursion to Valencia and Bioparc

Our journey begins at 9:30 am with a meeting at the Tourist Office in Castellón. We will board a bus for a one-hour ride to Valencia, the vibrant capital of the Levante region and one of the most populous cities in Spain.

The first hour in Valencia will be dedicated to a guided sightseeing tour, where you will encounter Baroque, Gothic, and modernist architectural styles, along with significant historical landmarks. During our bus ride, you'll have the opportunity to admire the stunning City of Arts and Sciences, a celebrated work by architect Santiago Calatrava , which stands as a landmark of Valencia.

Following our tour, we will proceed to the Bioparc zoo. This innovative facility allows visitors to experience a seamless integration of animals with their natural habitats, as the barriers separating them from the public are intentionally concealed, creating a fully immersive experience in nature.

As you wander through Bioparc Valencia at your own pace, you can observe various animal families including gorillas, buffaloes, and cheetahs. You’ll feel transported to the African plains with encounters featuring antelope, giraffes, rhinos, and lions.

Within the lush rainforest environment of Bioparc, encounters with elephants, lemurs, flamingos, and numerous other exotic species await. This, combined with the diverse plant life throughout the park, promises to make your visit truly memorable.

After several hours of exploring the wonders of the Bioparc, we will gather back at the bus for our return to Castellón de la Plana, with an anticipated arrival time of 6:45 pm.
