Our journey begins at the designated time at the Tourist Office of Castellón de la Plana, from where we will set off to discover the capital of the Els Ports region: Morella. Are you prepared to wander through this enchanting town? Let's begin our exploration!

After a picturesque drive lasting about an hour and a half, we will arrive in this delightful village. Our visit kicks off at the spectacular Morella Castle, majestically situated atop a rugged rock formation. Following this, we will embark on a guided exploration of the historical center, entering through the famous San Miguel Towers.

As we meander through the area, we will encounter significant sites such as the striking Town Hall, constructed in the 14th century, as well as stately manor houses. A visit to a local honey shop will also be on the agenda for those keen on acquiring this traditional specialty from Morella, making it an ideal souvenir!

The culmination of our tour will take place at the Archpriestly Basilica of Santa Maria, an exquisite example of Valencian Gothic and Renaissance architecture. Inside, we will observe remarkable features like the Churrigueresque-style High Altar, showcasing a scene of the Lignum Crucis presented to King James II. Furthermore, we will appreciate the meticulously crafted choir staircase, a standout element of the basilica.

Once we finish our visit to the basilica, you will enjoy 2 hours of leisure time within the heart of Morella to savor lunch and wander through the town's most scenic avenues at your leisure.
