To kick off, we'll don our medieval attire before embarking on a guided exploration of Castro Marim. As we wander through the historical center, you'll witness the town’s remarkable preservation of its medieval character!
Our first stop will be the Archaeological Museum, showcasing a variety of artifacts that illuminate the daily lives of the townspeople during this captivating era. Following this, we will ascend to the Castle, which served as the initial headquarters of the Order of Christ in the 14th century. Here, we'll appreciate the well-maintained ruins and soak in the breathtaking views of the town from the battlements.
To wrap up our adventure, we'll return to the medieval tavern to indulge in a tasty appetizer paired with a refreshing drink – an ideal way to conclude your exploration of Castro Marim! This guided experience lasts approximately 3 hours.
