Embark on an electric bike adventure from Castro that promises to unveil the stunning landscapes of Chiloé. You have the flexibility to select a tour that will take you through Quinchao, Lemuy, Rilán, or Queilen.

Tour Options

Upon making your reservation, you can opt for one of the following electric bike tours departing from Castro. Each option includes transfers and the support of a vehicle. Depending on your selection, a guide may or may not be part of the experience:

Guided Tour of Quinchao Island (8-9 hours)

Your day begins with a 9 am pickup from your hotel in Castro, followed by a trip to Dalcahue pier, where we will board a boat to Quinchao Island. Here, you will embark on a 25-kilometer (15.5-mile) electric bike journey.

We will kick off the ride at the Changuitad viewpoint, taking a moment to enjoy the scenery while fueling up with a cereal bar and fruit. Our next stop will be Curaco de Vélez, a charming village where we'll observe the local avifauna in its wetlands and explore a traditional Chiloé church.

In Curaco, you’ll have the chance to savor delicious oysters at the Ostras Los Troncos restaurant, or if you prefer, a picnic will be available as an alternative. Following lunch, we will pedal on to the towns of Chullec and Achao, where we'll enjoy a sandwich and beverage.

To conclude the tour, we will cycle back north to Quinchao's ferry, returning to Dalcahue, and then back to your accommodation in Castro.

Self-Guided Tour of Quinchao Island (8-9 hours)

Your adventure begins at 9 am with a pickup from your hotel in Castro, followed by our transfer to Dalcahue pier for a ferry ride to Quinchao Island. You are free to explore the cycling route at your own pace as you pedal through notable locations like Curaco de Velez and Chullec.

During this tour, you will manage your own oyster tasting experience, with prices ranging from 3000CLP to 5000CLP.

The route concludes in Achao, from where we will take you to the north pier of Quinchao Island for the return journey to Dalcahue. Finally, we will transport you back to your hotel in Castro.

Guided Tour of Lemuy Island (10-11 hours)

At 8:30 am, we will leave from your hotel in Castro to the Huicha dock, where we will board the ferry to Chulchuy. After arriving on Lemuy Island, we will begin a 28-kilometer (17 miles) electric bike route designed for ease.

Our first stop will be the Church of Ichuac for a break with a cereal bar and fruit. Following this, we will continue towards Muelle de los Brujos, leading us to the charming town of Puqueldón for a picnic lunch. The journey proceeds to Parque Yayanes and the picturesque Aldachildo, known for its remarkable wooden Chiloé church.

We will return to the Chulchuy pier to take the ferry back to Huicha and then transfer you to your hotel in Castro.

Self-Guided Tour of Lemuy Island (10-11 hours)

After picking you up from your hotel in Castro, we will head to the Huicha pier, where you'll board the ferry to Lemuy Island and start cycling at your own pace.

Explore attractions like Muelle de Los Brujos and the serene Parque Yayanes among the stunning Chiloé landscape. Note that there are entrance fees to the pier (2000CLP per person) and to Parque Yayanes (2000CLP per person).

Your route will conclude in Aldachildo, where we will pick you up for the journey back to the Chulchuy pier, taking the ferry to Huicha and transporting you back to your hotel in Castro.

Guided Tour of Rilán (8-9 hours)

Your day will start with a 9 am pickup at your hotel in Castro, before heading to the Rilán peninsula. You will embark on a 30-kilometer (18.6-mile) cycling trip of low difficulty. The first stop is in the village of Rilán to visit its wooden church, followed by a light snack before we proceed to the viewpoints of Quel Quel and Tutil.

The ride will continue to the Yutuy wetlands where we’ll pause to take in the view and then enjoy a typical Chiloé dish at a local restaurant. We will finish the day by transferring you back to your accommodation in Castro.

Self-Guided Tour of Rilán (8-9 hours)

From your hotel in Castro, we'll transport you to the Rilán peninsula, where you can commence your self-guided cycling experience. The breathtaking viewpoints of Quel Quel and Tutil await your exploration!

Additionally, a delicious lunch option is available for 15000CLP.

At the end of your tour, we’ll collect you from the Rilán peninsula and return you to your hotel in Castro.

Guided Tour of Queilen (10-11 hours)

Starting at 8:30 am, we will depart from your hotel in Castro towards the Queilen peninsula. This electric bike tour, classified as low difficulty, covers 21 kilometers (13 miles). We will first ride to the town of Lelbún, before continuing to the Church of Aituy.

After a light snack, our ride will take us across the Yaituy Bridge into the scenic town of Queilen, where we will enjoy a boat ride to observe dolphins and native penguins. The experience also includes tasting seafood and oysters on board.

Upon returning to the port of Queilen, we will savor a coffee and cake before heading back on the road to your accommodation in Castro.
