Description

Your adventure begins with a pickup in Cefalu at the scheduled time, as we set out towards Mount Etna, renowned as Sicily’s most iconic volcano and among the globe’s most active geological wonders. As we ascend by bus, you’ll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside.

We will navigate a path around the volcano's summit, where you can observe the impressive craters and vents, releasing wisps of grey steam. Legend has it that the Forge of Hephaestus is said to be located in these very mountains.

Following our exploration of Etna, you'll have some free time to choose whether to ride the cable car and then take a 4x4 vehicle up to an elevation of 3000 meters (9842 feet). The views will be nothing short of spectacular!

Once you’ve soaked in the stunning surroundings of Etna, we will proceed to Taormina, a delightful city known for its Greco-Roman theatre. Here, you will embark on a guided walk through the heart of Taormina, soaking in the charm of this Mediterranean gem, followed by additional free time.

During your time in Taormina, you can opt to explore the Taormina Theatre or savor some authentic Sicilian dishes. Alternatively, take advantage of the time to shop around the quaint streets.

In conclusion, we will journey back to Cefalu, returning you to your hotel approximately 13 hours after the initial pickup.
