Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Chapada dos Guimarães at the arranged time, as we make our way to Estância Buriti, situated 60 kilometers (37 miles) away. Excited to start this hiking experience? Let’s immerse ourselves in the inviting waters of the Águas do Cerrado waterfalls!
As we embark on our 8-kilometer (5-mile) round-trip trail, we will discover the magnificent Águas do Cerrado waterfalls. Our first destination will be a natural pool known as Pocinho do Amor, renowned for its heart-shaped outline. The enchanting water boasts greenish tones and is framed by buritis, a distinctive flora of this region. Who's eager for a swim?
After a refreshing swim, our journey continues towards the Orquídeas waterfall, where we will pass the Almas Gêmeas and Pedra Encantada waterfalls. We will spend about 20 minutes at each location, giving you plenty of time to unwind and enjoy the untouched waters.
Besides taking pleasant breaks for swimming, we’ll take a moment to replenish our energy. You will have the chance to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant—what a treat!
After a fulfilling eight hours, we will wrap up our exploration of the Águas do Cerrado waterfalls and return you to your hotel in Chapada dos Guimarães.

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Chapada dos Guimarães at the desiganted time. Please be ready at the reception 15 minutes beforehand.
Additional information
We recommend wearing a hat or cap, sun protection, and footwear suitable for hiking. It's also advisable to bring water, insect repellent, snacks or fruit, a garbage bag, and a bathing suit.
