Our meeting point is set at the Chichén Itzá Archaeological Site, located in the northern region of the Yucatán Peninsula. Here, we will commence our guided exploration, transporting ourselves to the heights of Mayan civilization.
With the guidance of a knowledgeable expert in regional history, we'll uncover the reasons this site has earned its place among the New Seven Wonders of the World. You will learn about the myths and truths surrounding one of the most significant Maya cities from the pre-Hispanic period. Our discussions will cover architecture, culture, and artistry, and you will even pick up some words from the Maya language!
The most iconic representation of Chichén Itzá is the remarkable pyramid dedicated to the deity Kukulkán. Referred to as 'The Castle' by Spanish conquerors, this structure played a pivotal role in the region's spiritual landscape, serving as a massive sacred calendar for the Mayans.
As we proceed with our tour, we’ll have the chance to admire the Temple of the Warriors and its thousand columns, each adorned with intricate carvings. We will also delve into the fascinating world of the Mesoamerican ballgame, a revered sport practiced by Mexico's pre-Hispanic societies.
Our journey continues with an exploration of the Temple of the Jaguars, the Tzompantli with its mysterious skull engravings, the Platform of the Eagles, and many other significant sites within the awe-inspiring Chichén Itzá. After two hours filled with discovery, we will conclude the tour and bid farewell.

Important information
On the day of the activity, the guide will meet you at the designated time at the ticket offices of the Visitor Center (CATVI) in the Chichén Itzá archaeological zone (Carr. Costera del Golfo, 97750 Yuc., Mexico).
The guide will be holding a sign with your name. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early.

- Please bring your ID or passport.
- Food and drinks (except water), drones, and tripods are not permitted.
- Admission to the Chichén Itzá archaeological zone is not included in the tour. Prices are as follows: 697MXN for non-Mexican visitors and 310MXN for Mexican nationals. Children under 12 enter free of charge.
- Please bring cash to purchase your tickets and speed up access to the archaeological zone.
