Gibraltar Day Trip
Description
Discover the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula as you explore the historical sites and notable landmarks within the British territory of Gibraltar, on this day excursion from Chiclana de la Frontera.
Details of the Day Trip
At the scheduled meeting time, we will gather at the bus stop located on the road to Medina, 87, and embark on a journey through the Natural Park of Los Alcornocales toward La Línea de la Concepción, the Spanish town adjacent to Gibraltar.
Upon arrival in Gibraltar, you’ll have the freedom to navigate the area at your own leisure. We highly recommend a visit to Punta Europa, where you can soak in the spectacular views of the Strait of Gibraltar from the various lookout points.
Don’t overlook the chance to explore St Michael's Cave, a fascinating system of limestone caves brimming with intrigue. Additionally, we suggest wandering down Main Street, the most popular shopping avenue in Gibraltar, ideal for lunch and some shopping.
We will also make a stop at the Higuerón and Estrecho viewpoints, two picturesque locations offering breathtaking views of the Cádiz coast and the confluence of two continents. On clear days, the silhouette of Africa can be spotted on the horizon. This unforgettable vista is sure to leave a lasting impression!
