Your adventure begins when we pick you up from your accommodation in Chiclayo at your arranged time, and you will be taken to Lambayeque, home of the prestigious Brüning National Archaeological Museum.

Inside the museum, you will discover a stunning collection of over 1,400 artifacts representing diverse cultures, including the Moche, Vicus, and Chavin. Some of these pieces date back more than a millennium! The museum grounds feature a representation of Naylamp, a figure from Peruvian mythology, and you will gain insights into the extensive research conducted by Enrique Brüning over 48 years.

Following the museum, we will head to the Huaca Chotuna-Chornancap Archaeological Complex, which dates from approximately the 700s to 1300s. This site is thought to have served as a ceremonial hub for the Lambayeque civilization. You will have the opportunity to explore stepped pyramids, palatial structures, and enclosed areas, culminating in a visit to the distinctive truncated pyramid of Chornancap.

Next, we will stop at a viewpoint to absorb the breathtaking view of the 26 pyramids of Túcume. A visit to the local museum will further enhance your understanding of the indigenous groups that inhabited this region until the Spanish conquest.

After a comprehensive 4-hour journey, you will return to your hotel in Chiclayo.
