Itinerary Overview

When you are ready, a vehicle will collect you from your accommodation in Chihuahua and set off towards Creel.

On the way, a break will be taken at the outskirts of Cuauhtémoc, where you can observe the vast farmlands maintained by the Mennonites. This community, rooted in Anabaptist beliefs, eschews modern technologies, allowing their traditional practices to flourish.

During our visit, we will spend approximately 5 hours engaging with members of this Protestant group, who will share insights into their fundamental customs and traditions. Additionally, you will have the chance to partake in a flavorful lunch featuring various local specialties made by the community.

Post-lunch, we will depart from the Mennonite areas of Cuauhtémoc and continue our exploration of the Chihuahua state. As we get closer to Creel, you will marvel at captivating landscapes adorned with unique rock structures known as the valleys of Frogs and Mushrooms, which are truly astonishing!

Our arrival in Creel is expected around 7 pm. Once there, you'll have the opportunity to discover the local attractions at your own pace, including the Tarahumara Museum of Popular Art and the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes.
