Excursion to Porvenir & Tahuamanu River Voyage

Our journey begins at 9 am at 9 de Febrero Avenue. From this central location in Cobija, we will set off towards Porvenir, renowned as one of the most picturesque villages in Pando.

After a brief 30-minute ride, we will arrive in town. Our first stop will be the Palma Real spa, where you can admire its beautiful natural pool, fed by the clear waters of the San Pedro stream.

Next, we will explore the historic center of Porvenir, which features the Immaculate Conception Parish along with other significant monuments. Our adventure continues as we head to the local river port to embark on a motor boat journey through the Tahuamanu River.

As we glide through this region of the northern Bolivian jungle, we’ll approach the border with the municipality of Filadelfia. During our journey, we will take a break at the Brisas de Cachuelita restaurant, where a traditional lunch awaits, featuring a local fish dish accompanied by rice, salad, and a beverage.

Following our meal, we will visit Villa Esperanza, an artisan center that focuses on providing training and employment for individuals with disabilities. We will conclude our day by returning to the initial meeting point in Cobija, arriving between 4 and 5 pm.
