Explore the vibrant bird sanctuary at Parque de Aves Agroflori and encounter its avian residents on this trip departing from Cochabamba. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit Villa Albina, an opulent estate constructed by the renowned "Tin King" for his beloved wife.

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Cochabamba at 10 am, leading us to the renowned bird sanctuary of Parque de Aves Agroflori.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a journey through this nature reserve, which is committed to safeguarding mistreated animals. This admirable project commenced over twenty years ago when its founder, Marcelo Antezana, observed the illegal wildlife trade during his employment at the airport.

During our tour, you will discover the significant conservation efforts undertaken by the park aimed at rehabilitating birds like the Tucuman amazon and returning them to their natural habitats. Throughout the enclosure, we will encounter various species, including the striking Scarlet and Hyacinth macaws, along with other rescued inhabitants like peacocks, eagles, and flamingos that were saved after severe droughts affected local lakes.

Next, we will proceed to Villa Albina, a breathtaking mansion symbolizing everlasting love. Constructed by wealthy Bolivian miner Simón Patiño for his wife, this magnificent estate boasts the name of his beloved: Albina. What a delightful testament to romance!

This grand residence is just one of the many contributions to Bolivian heritage by the so-called "Tin King." After exploring the mansion, we will make our way back to Cochabamba, concluding our tour at approximately 3:30 pm.
