Daytime Boat Journey

Upon your arrival at the dock, just a short five-minute walk from the renowned Cologne Cathedral, we'll set sail for an enchanting boat tour along the River Rhine at the time of your preference. This excursion includes an audio guide in English, accessible via a QR code that can be downloaded to your mobile device while on board.

Cologne is among the most historic cities in Germany, originating from a Roman settlement established in the 1st century AD. During this captivating boat journey, you'll have the chance to listen to an audio guide in English and seven additional languages, exploring the history of Cologne and uncovering fascinating aspects of the city’s prominent monuments.

This cruise offers you the chance to relish breathtaking vistas of Germany's fourth-largest city. We'll glide along the wooden Frankenwerft promenade, taking in the vibrant traditional houses that line Fischmarkt square. Highlights include the Hohenzollern Bridge, which accommodates over 1,200 trains daily, the majestic Cologne Cathedral, and the Twelve Romanesque churches of Cologne located in the historic Old Quarter.

Following an hour of exploration on the waters of Cologne, we will return to our original dock.

Sunset Boat Journey

Setting off at the designated time from the Trankgassenwerft pier, we will embark on a boat excursion along the Rhine as the sunset casts a warm glow over Cologne's structures and bridges. Please note that this tour will not feature an audio guide.

For a span of two hours, we will cruise along the Rhine banks, admiring the medieval architecture of the old town and the majestic Hohenzollern Bridge looming over the landscape. As twilight descends upon Cologne, the cathedral and the bell towers of the Romanesque basilicas will be seen rising prominently above the cityscape. We’ll also glide past the charming houses at Fischmarkt square and enjoy views of the tree-lined paths along the riverbank.

This sunset cruise provides a unique perspective of Cologne. Onboard, you can indulge in a drink or a small snack while you take in the scenic city view.

Concluding the boat tour, we will head back to our initial departure point.
