Your adventure commences at 9:30 am, with our guide meeting you at your Concepción hotel to begin a journey that focuses on the principal coastal sites within the metropolitan area.

As we travel through Gran Concepción, including both the city and its surrounding towns, we will cross the iconic Biobío River, a significant landmark that historically served as a dividing line between the Spanish Kingdom and the Mapuche lands. On the opposite shore, you will find San Pedro de la Paz, renowned for its picturesque lagoon, which is a habitat for black-necked swans.

Next, we will set our sights on the Hualpén Peninsula, where the noteworthy Pedro del Río Zañartu Museum-Park is located near the river’s estuary. Here, we will delve into the local exhibits and stroll along the park's pathways that trace the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean within the Nature Sanctuary.

As we continue through Gran Concepción, a visit to the town of Talcahuano awaits. Spend an hour for lunch at Tumbes Peninsula Cove, where local dining spots provide stunning views of Quiriquina Island and Concepción Bay.

Following lunch, we will journey to the Talcahuano naval base to discover the historic Monitor Huáscar, a formidable battleship that was instrumental during the Pacific War. After exploring its rich history, we will head back to Concepción, culminating the day with a breathtaking sunset over the Lenga wetland. We anticipate your return to the hotel by around 5:30 pm.
