Embark on a day trip to Aguas Blancas Waterfall, an opportunity to experience a harmonious blend of cultural exploration and natural beauty as you traverse stunning landscapes and visit magnificent waterfalls.

Details of the Day Trip

We will convene at Central Park in Constanza at the designated hour, followed by a bus ride heading southeast for approximately 45 minutes. This journey will take you through mountainous terrain adorned with vibrant forests within the Central Mountain Range of the Dominican Republic.

Upon arrival, prepare for a 45-minute hike along gently sloping paths. As you progress, you'll encounter layers of sedimentary rock and geological formations that tell the intricate geological story of this mountain range. The melodious call of the palmchat, the national bird, fills the air and, with a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of woodpeckers and small anole lizards.

In no time, we will arrive at Aguas Blancas Waterfall, which cascades over 80 meters (262 feet) into a beautiful natural amphitheater framed by rocky cliffs. Enjoy a full hour to take in the breathtaking views, capture photographs, and if you choose, indulge in a refreshing swim in its clear, cool waters.

Following our time at the waterfall, we’ll retrace our steps along the same trail and stop at a nearby restaurant. Here, you'll have the chance to savor a traditional Dominican lunch prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. After this hour-long pause, we'll make our way back to Constanza.

Our journey concludes at the starting point with heartfelt farewells after an enriching experience spanning 4 to 5 hours.
