Dyrehaven Park Bike Tour

On this bike tour of Dyrehaven Park, participants will explore a unique setting in the heart of the Danish countryside while cycling along tranquil paths, surrounded by deer and picturesque landscapes. This experience promises to be memorable.

Activity Details

At the scheduled time, the group will convene at the Copenhagen Central Station. From there, we will board a train to commence our adventure in nature.

Following a journey of approximately 30 minutes, we will arrive at Klampenborg, the gateway to Dyrehaven. Upon arrival, bikes will be provided for a ride through this forest park, recognized as one of the oldest and largest in Europe and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The park, once utilized as a royal hunting ground, features a remarkable blend of historical significance and natural beauty. Throughout the tour, insights into its origins and role in par force hunting will be shared while cycling through trails embraced by lush greenery. Participants may also observe deer grazing peacefully.

At the conclusion of the 15 km (9.3 mi) bike route, there will be free time to enjoy lunch and visit the Lifeguard Tower, designed by Arne Jacobsen.

Finally, the group will return to Copenhagen via train and conclude the tour at the meeting point approximately 4 hours after departure.
