Accessing Lobos Island via Water Taxi

To begin your adventure, pick up your ticket at number 26 on Calle Iglesia in Corralejo. From there, head to the harbour where the water taxi awaits to transport you to the breathtaking Lobos Island, a natural reserve located merely one mile from the shore of the larger Canary island.

The boat ride, which takes approximately 15 minutes, offers stunning vistas of the magnificent Atlantic Ocean and allows you to admire the island as you near your destination.

Upon arrival at Lobos Island, you will be dropped at the dock where you can spend several hours enjoying the island at your own leisure.

Activities on Lobos Island

Lobos Island serves as a wonderful natural retreat perfect for a relaxing beach day or a vigorous hike along volcanic pathways. The choice of how to enjoy your time on the island is entirely yours!

If you prefer an active experience, embark on the 12 km (7.5 mile) hiking loop that encircles the island, giving you the chance to dive into its stunning landscapes. Be sure to take a break at La Caldera, the island's highest point, where the views will leave you breathless!

If lounging by the beach is more your style, make sure to visit La Concha Beach or El Puertito de Lobos, where the glistening turquoise waters will captivate you!

For dining options, you can visit the restaurant Lobos Antoñito El Farero, the sole eatery on the island. Keep in mind that it is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

When booking your trip, be sure to choose the departure time for your water taxi. For your return, there are taxis available every 30 minutes, and you can finalize the time on the day of your visit. You are free to spend as much time as you wish on Lobos Island.
