Ticket to Chaplin's World
Charles Chaplin, celebrated as one of the most significant figures in early 20th-century cinema, chose to settle in Corsier-sur-Vevey. Nestled within the Swiss canton of Vaud, Chaplin's World serves as a cultural hub featuring a museum and multimedia exhibits that chronicle the life and oeuvre of the iconic Charlot.
The highlight of this venue is undoubtedly the Manoir de Ban, the home where Chaplin spent his later years. Within this expansive 500-square-meter (5,400-square-foot) estate, you will encounter personal artifacts and furnishings belonging to the actor. A stroll through the rooms will immerse you in Chaplin's daily experiences during his 25 years in this picturesque region.
Your access to Chaplin's World also includes a visit to a replica of a film studio from the early 1900s. This area showcases a collection of visual displays highlighting Chaplin's journey and contributions, alongside various elements associated with cinema and a set from the silent film Charlot's Easy Street.
Complementing the Manoir de Ban and film studio, the complex boasts 10 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, offering stunning vistas of Lake Geneva and the majestic Alps.
