Crystal River Boat Ride
Description
Experience the wonders of Florida's wildlife with an exhilarating boat excursion on the Crystal River, where the region's vibrant natural ecosystem awaits your discovery.
Description
At the arranged time, we will gather at SE Kings Bay Dr to embark on this boat journey through the Crystal River. This excursion is an essential experience for anyone visiting this part of Florida!
While aboard, we'll glide through the serene waters of the river, navigationally linking to the Gulf of Mexico. This is undeniably the prime method to witness the splendid flora and fauna indigenous to the region. Did you know Kings Bay stands as the second-largest spring system in the state?
During our journey, we will have the opportunity to observe the headwaters of the Crystal River, a vibrant bay bustling with wading birds, waterfowl, black-crowned night herons, wood storks, bald eagles, brown and white pelicans, osprey, and red-tailed hawks, along with the iconic endangered manatee. These species are just a glimpse into the rich biodiversity that relies on this habitat.
After a delightful 1.5-hour boat ride, we'll return to our starting location to conclude our time together.
