The day begins with a 7 am pickup from your hotel in Curitiba, followed by a scenic drive to Castrolanda, located about three hours away.

Upon our arrival, we will step off the bus to immerse ourselves in this charming Dutch-influenced village, established by Dutch immigrants in 1951. The unique architecture of the homes and our visit to the Castrolanda Historical Museum will provide deep insights into this community's origins.

Our exploration will include discussions on the motivations, phases, and factors that spurred the migration from the Netherlands to Brazil, which significantly boosted the local economy through agricultural enterprises. A highlight will be our visit to a life-size replica of the Woldzigt mill, originally from Roderwolde in northern Holland.

Afterward, we will take a moment to recharge at a local eatery, enjoying a traditional Dutch lunch.

With renewed vigor, we’ll proceed to Carambeí, a village closely tied to Dutch immigration. Here, we will explore the Historical Park, a reconstructed outdoor space that depicts a Dutch village from the early 20th century.

As we wander through this picturesque setting, you’ll discover captivating tales about Dutch culture and traditions while admiring the village's church, homes, and windmills. It’s as if you’ve journeyed to the Netherlands while staying in Brazil!

The tour concludes around 7 pm, as we return to your hotel.
