Embark on a journey to the stunning Honey Island (Ilha do Mel), where we will set sail from Pontal do Paraná to discover the breathtaking natural beauty and historical landmarks of this enchanting destination in the Paranaguá Bay.

Your day begins at 7 am with a convenient hotel pickup in Curitiba. From there, we will travel by minibus to Pontal do Paraná, immersing ourselves in the scenic route.

After approximately an hour and a half of travel, we'll disembark the minibus and hop onto a boat that will take us to our idyllic destination, Mel Island. Are you excited to explore this captivating landscape?

As we navigate around the island in Paranaguá Bay, we will stop at the base of Morro das Conchas. Here, a climb of around 200 steps leads us to the historic lighthouse perched atop the hill, constructed by Pedro II of Brazil in 1872. During our visit, we will delve into the history behind this landmark while soaking in the stunning vistas of the sandy beaches and lush foliage surrounding Mel Island.

After our exploration, we will make our way to a local eatery, where a traditional dish awaits to refuel us. Post-lunch, you will have three hours of leisure time to swim, relax under the sun, and explore the island's craft stores.

This period is also an excellent opportunity to visit the fortress of Nuestra Señora de los Placeres, an important military site from the 18th century that has safeguarded the island and its coastal region throughout history.

At the end of the day, we will reconvene to board the boat and return to shore, ensuring you arrive back at your hotel by 7 pm.
