This excursion takes us from the state of Paraná to the picturesque Santa Catarina, where we will explore the renowned cities of the Itajaí Valley: Joinville, Balneario Camboriú, and Blumenau.

Joinville, Balneario Camboriú + Blumenau Expedition

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Curitiba at 8 am, after which we will embark on a scenic drive southwards into Santa Catarina. Our route will take us through the captivating Itajaí Valley, reaching Joinville in approximately two hours.

Once in Joinville, we will explore the Immigrant Museum, where we delve into the history of the 19th-century immigrants, including Germans, Swiss, and Norwegians, who settled in this region. A leisurely stroll down Alameda Brüstlein will showcase palm trees brought from Rio de Janeiro. This beautiful avenue is recognized as a National Historical Heritage site.

Next, we will journey through the Itajaí Valley to Blumenau, an area known for its strong German influence. Here, we will witness the distinct Germanic architecture that characterizes the city and learn about its cultural preservation among the locals. Notably, Blumenau hosts the largest Oktoberfest in America.

As we nourish ourselves, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Blumenau, where you can enjoy a traditional German meal. Once re-energized, we'll proceed to Balneario Camboriú, a vibrant destination within Santa Catarina.

In Balneario Camboriú, prepare to be amazed by the stunning white sandy beaches and towering skyscrapers. We will also catch a glimpse of a remarkable Ferris wheel reaching over 80 meters (262 feet) high, along with the iconic Christo Luz, which stands as a symbol of the city.

The tour concludes at approximately 9:30 pm, at which point we will return you to your hotel.
