Itinerary Outline 

Our adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in the heart of Cusco between 8:00 am and 8:30 am. A light breakfast is advised before we embark on this enriching experience. Let’s get started!

Our first destination will be the Chinchero Textile Centre, where we’ll delve into the traditional arts of spinning, dyeing, and weaving preserved by Andean communities over centuries, alongside insights into their natural dyeing methods.

Following this, we’ll make our way to the Moray archaeological site, renowned for its stunning concentric circular terraces. Here, you will learn how the Incas utilized the varying microclimates of each level to enhance their agricultural practices.

The next highlight is the Maras Salt Mines, featuring a network of over 3,000 salt pools that have been worked since pre-Inca times using age-old techniques. We will make a brief stop at a specialty shop dedicated to Maras salt, where you can discover its diverse culinary and cosmetic applications.

Concluding our tour, we’ll head to a serene location in the Sacred Valley of the Incas for a private Andean picnic amidst alpacas and llamas. Your lunch will include a shared cheese platter with fruit, artisanal bread, and local delicacies, complemented by a bottle of Intipalka wine for two, along with soft drinks or herbal teas. You will have time to capture beautiful moments and taste a selection of regional products, beverages, and wine.

After an enriching 9-hour exploration, we’ll return you to your hotel in Cusco.
