Four Lagoons Experience

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco around 4 am as we head south to explore the marvelous four lagoons: some of the most breathtaking bodies of water in the Peruvian Andes.

Our first stop will be in the Andean village of Cusipata for breakfast, after which we will proceed to the Quehue district. Here, you will have an opportunity to admire the renowned Queshuachaca Bridge, a footbridge rooted in Inca history, constructed entirely from a native fiber known as ichu. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is maintained through an annual ritual that honors traditional Inca building methods.

Next, we will visit Lake Pomacanchi, the largest of the four lagoons, notable for its diverse array of native flora and fauna, particularly its vibrant birdlife that thrives around its tranquil waters. Close by is the Acopia lagoon, adjacent to the charming village of the same name. Our exploration continues to Lake Asnacocha, and we will make a stop at Pampamarca lagoon to take in its captivating natural surroundings.

Following our lagoon visits, we will make our way back to Cusipata for a refreshing picnic lunch. After enjoying our meal, we'll return to Cusco, where you can expect to be dropped off at your hotel by approximately 6 pm.
