Activity Overview

Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Cuzco. After about an hour of traveling, we will arrive in Soqma, where a brief overview of the hike and the natural wonders we’ll encounter awaits.

Once we’re set, we’ll embark on a moderate uphill trek. During this initial leg, you’ll witness local communities engaging in traditional agriculture while marveling at the diverse flora and fauna native to the region.

About 1.5 hours into the hike, you will reach the highlight of the excursion: the Perolniyoc Waterfall. This natural gem served as a ceremonial fountain in the Incan era. You will have approximately 45 minutes to relax, explore the area, and capture stunning photographs.

Afterward, we will retrace our steps back to Soqma, wrapping up the hike which covers around 4.97 mi (8 km) in total. Following this, we will board the vehicle and head to Ñaupa Iglesia, an ancient Incan temple once used for ceremonies and moon worship. Experience the serene ambiance of this spiritual site flanked by mountains.

The experience continues in Pachar, where a traditional lunch featuring local produce is prepared for you. Afterward, you'll enjoy a leisurely 45-minute period, allowing you to visit an artisanal brewery if you choose.

Finally, we will make our way back to Cuzco, ensuring you are dropped off at your hotel about 9 hours after starting our journey.
