Immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding Cuzco with this hiking adventure to the Perolniyoc Waterfall, a stunning destination rich in diverse landscapes waiting to be explored.

Activity Details

Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Cuzco, after which we will head towards the village of Soqma. Following a scenic drive of roughly an hour, we will arrive and provide an overview of the trail and the natural attractions that lie ahead.

Once ready, we will embark on a medium-level uphill hike. During this segment, you will observe local inhabitants engaged in traditional agricultural practices while enjoying the region's diverse flora and fauna.

After approximately 1.5 hours of trekking, we will reach the highlight of our expedition: the Perolniyoc Waterfall. This breathtaking waterfall served as a ceremonial fountain in the Incan era. You will have around 45 minutes to relax, investigate the area, and capture breathtaking photographs.

Subsequently, we will retrace our steps back to Soqma, concluding our hiking distance of approximately 4.97 mi (8 km). Our next destination will be Ñaupa Iglesia, an ancient Incan temple known for its ceremonies and dedicated to moon worship. Experience the tranquil atmosphere of this mystical site nestled amidst mountains.

Finally, we will proceed to Pachar, where a traditional meal made from locally sourced ingredients will be served. Following lunch, you'll have a 45-minute window of free time, which you can spend visiting a nearby craft brewery.

Your day will conclude with our return to Cuzco, where we will drop you off at your hotel about 9 hours after the initial pickup.
