At the designated time, we'll meet you at your hotel and commence our journey towards Písac, which will take approximately an hour.
Our excursion will kick off in this charming town where we will stroll through its scenic streets, appreciate the vibrant artisan markets, and delve into its renowned market. Before continuing, a guided exploration of the Písac archaeological park awaits, recognized as a significant site within the Sacred Valley.
While making our way back to Cusco, a brief stop at the Taray Viewpoint will offer breathtaking vistas of the Incas' Sacred Valley. The impressive terraced landscapes will surely captivate you!
Following this, we will delve into the surrounding ruins of Cusco. Our first stop will be at Sacsayhuamán, an awe-inspiring ceremonial fortress made of stone. Next, we’ll proceed to Q'enqo, a site steeped in ritual history once used for sacrifices. We will also visit Tambomachay, a sacred place dedicated to honoring the God of Water.
To conclude our exploration, we'll take in a sweeping view of Puka-Pukará, an ancient checkpoint that guarded the Inca pathways.
We will wrap up our adventure with a return to your hotels in Cusco after an enriching 6 hours.
Pickup
This experience includes pickup from accommodations within the historic area of Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
If your lodging is outside of the central area, kindly arrange your own transportation to the gathering point at Plaza Regocijo Square.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll collect you from your hotel at the scheduled time. We recommend being ready in the reception of the at least 10 minutes beforehand.
Please keep in mind that this activity includes pickup from accommodation located in the historic centre of Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
If you're staying elsewhere, you must make your own way to the meeting point in Plaza Regocijo Square.
Pickup and Drop-off in the Sacred Valley
Pickup will take place in the Sacred Valley around 8 am and the return journey will be to Cusco and not the Sacred Valley.
Admission Not Included
The price of the admission tickets is not included in the tour and can only be paid in Peruvian Sol, which must be paid in cash to be able to access the Incan altars.
The prices are as follows:
- Full tourist ticket for foreign adults: 130PEN per person
- Full tourist ticket for foreign children aged 10 to 18 or students with valid ID: 70PEN per person
- Full tourist ticket for adult residents in Peru: 70PEN per person
- Full tourist ticket for children aged 10 to 18 residents in Peru or students with valid ID: 40PEN per person
- Full tourist ticket for children under 10: free, regardless of their nationality
With the full ticket, you'll have access to the archaeological sites that we'll visit on the tour, plus 10 other sites, for a duration of 10 days.
