Description

Discover archaeological sites, stunning landscapes, charming villages, and rich cultural traditions on this journey through the Inca Valley, starting from Cusco. You will explore Pisac, the impressive Ollantaytambo Fort, and witness various artifacts from the Inca civilization.

Trip Overview

On the scheduled day of your excursion, you'll be collected from your accommodation in Cusco and we will embark on an exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, celebrated by ancient cultures for its favorable climate and fertile land.

In Pisac, you’ll enjoy some leisure time to acquire local artisan crafts before we proceed along the picturesque Vilcanota River towards Urubamba, recognized as the capital of the Sacred Valley, where a delightful traditional Andean buffet awaits you.

Rejuvenated, we will then visit the Ollantaytambo ruins for an informative guided tour. After our visit, we will commence our return to Cusco, with a stop in Chincheros to admire the Church of Our Lady of Monserrat and learn about the history of this remarkable edifice.

Our return to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco is expected around 6 pm after approximately ten hours of engaging activities.

Pickup Locations

The tour includes pickup from the following locations in Cusco:

Historic center of Cusco (San Blas area, Calle Nueva Alta, Saphi, Ruins, Matara, San Pedro, Av. Sol, Tullumayu, and Huascar).
Santa Ana (only at the temple of Santa Ana).
Recoleta (up to the temple of Recoleta and nearby streets).
Zaguán del Cielo.
Lucrepata.
Wanchaq (the Pachacuteq oval, Infancia, Estadio Garcilaso, and Pachacútecac Amaru).
Santiago (Grau Bridge and Pasaje Esmeralda).

If your hotel is situated outside these areas, you will receive information regarding the nearest meeting point, which is close to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco.

Cusco Tourist Card

By obtaining the Cusco Tourist Card, you will gain entry to numerous attractions throughout the historic city and the Sacred Valley. Various options are available based on your interests and the duration of your stay in Cusco!

Please note that pickups are only available from hotels in the historic center of Cusco. If you're staying further out, we'll let you know a meeting point.

The itinerary may be affected during local holiday celebrations. In that case, the local provider will contact you about possible changes.
Remember to bring hiking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a raincoat.
Please keep in mind that the partial tourist ticket (70PEN for foreign adults and 40PEN for Peruvian adults) and the entrance fee to the salt mines of Maras (20PEN for foreigners 15PEN for Peruvian citizens) are not included in the price of the activity and you must pay this on the day of the tour.
