Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour: Ollantaytambo & Pisac
Description
Archaeological sites, scenic views, charming villages, and rich cultural traditions await you on this journey through the Inca Valley departing from Cuzco. Your exploration will take you to Pisac, the Ollantaytambo Fortress, and various remnants of the Inca civilization.
Itinerary Overview
Your adventure begins with a pickup at the scheduled time, departing from Cusco to immerse yourself in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a region revered by the Pre-Columbian empire for its fertile landscape and favorable climate.
In Pisac, you'll enjoy some leisure time to shop for traditional artisan crafts, before continuing your journey along the Vilcanota River to Urubamba, recognized as the capital of the Sacred Valley. There, you will indulge in a delightful traditional Andean buffet lunch.
Rejuvenated, we'll visit the Ollantaytambo ruins for an insightful guided tour. After exploring the site, we will begin our journey back to Cusco, with a stop in Chincheros to admire the Church of Our Lady of Monserrat and discover the history behind its construction.
