My Son Temples Trip

Embark on a journey to uncover the enigmatic lost kingdom of Champa with an excursion to the My Son temples, an essential destination while in Da Nang, situated within Southeast Asia.

Description

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Da Nang at the specified time. We will travel by bus southward towards the My Son temples, with an estimated travel duration of about 2 hours.

Upon arrival, we will disembark and initiate a guided exploration of the My Son temples, often referred to as the "Angkor of Vietnam". This is your chance to explore the remarkable structures of the Champa civilization, built in the 3rd century amidst a picturesque valley encircled by mountains. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to witness a traditional Champa dance.

Interestingly, the original shrines at My Son were made of wood. However, in the 6th century, a catastrophic fire prompted their rebuilt with bricks. These temples have since grown to be a prominent Hindu sanctuary in Southeast Asia, and your visit to My Son will undoubtedly be a memorable one.

After our temple tour, we will pause at a traditional Vietnamese house for a delightful Vietnamese lunch.

Concluding 7 hours of exploration, we will head back to Da Nang, either by bus or boat, according to your preference, ensuring your return to your hotel.

Sunset boat tour

If you wish, you can opt for the package that includes a sunset boat ride. In this scenario, we will visit the My Son temples starting at 2:30 pm followed by a display of the traditional Apsara dance. It promises to be an enjoyable experience!

After the dance performance, we will take a boat ride back, giving you the chance to appreciate a breathtaking sunset.

Hotel pickup

This experience includes a pickup from central hotels in Da Nang. If your accommodation is on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street or Hoang Sa Street, there will be an additional fee of 50000VND per person payable on the day of the excursion.

Schedules

For your convenience, here are the pickup times based on the selected option:

• Round-trip bus tour: Pickup will occur between 7:15 am and 7:30 am from your hotel.
• Tour with outbound bus & return by boat: Pickup will also take place between 7:15 am and 7:30 am.
• Sunset boat tour: We will collect you between 12:15 pm and 1:30 pm.
