Embark on a journey to Ephesus and explore one of the most well-preserved relics of antiquity on the Asia Minor peninsula. This excursion also features visits to the House of the Virgin Mary and the Isa Bey Mosque.

Details of the Day Trip

Our adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Dalaman at the designated time, followed by a northwest drive towards Ephesus. After approximately four hours of travel, we will reach our destination and commence a guided exploration of one of Turkey's most intact Greco-Roman cities.

As we navigate through Ephesus, our guide will highlight significant landmarks such as the Temple of Hadrian, dedicated to the deified Roman emperor, and the Library of Celsus, renowned as one of the finest bibliographic repositories of the Roman Empire in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Next, we will visit the Roman Theater, a remarkable and vital structure within the site. This impressive horseshoe-shaped theater, incorporating numerous elements of Hellenistic design, could accommodate a staggering 25,000 spectators!

Following our Ephesus exploration, we will enjoy a replenishing Turkish lunch at a local restaurant. Once refreshed, the group will continue to the Isa Bey Mosque, noted as one of the most ancient architectural relics from the Anatolian beyliks.

The final highlight of our journey will be a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, the sanctuary where the apostle St. John is believed to have brought Mary, following the crucifixion of Jesus.

Concluding our day, we will return you to your hotel, wrapping up a comprehensive experience of around 12 hours.
