Our excursion kicks off with a pickup from your accommodation in David, leading us to the launch area where our adventure truly begins.
At the launch point, we’ll get settled into our kayaks and receive a brief orientation about the upcoming route. Are you prepared to discover one of the largest mangrove ecosystems in Panama?
As we start paddling, a lush green panorama surrounds us, highlighting the intertwining roots that rise from the waters—an ideal habitat for a diverse array of birds and reptiles. With a bit of good fortune, we may spot kingfishers, herons, and even sea turtles gliding through the foliage.
Throughout this enriching 2.5-hour kayaking expedition, we'll explore the vibrant ecosystem that plays a crucial role in ocean health. The Chiriquí coast boasts the second-largest expanse of mangroves nationwide, and its closeness to the Pacific coral reefs accentuates its significance, showcasing exotic and rich flora along the way!
Concluding our exploration, we will return to the mainland before making our way back to David, ensuring you're safely dropped off at your hotel after a fulfilling 4-hour experience.
