Our journey commences at the entrance of a well-known wine estate in Desenzano del Garda, where participants will become acquainted with the electric bikes. Are you prepared for this ride?
Once equipped, we’ll leave the bustling town behind, venturing into the core of the region to unveil its genuine essence via tranquil rural lanes and scenic paths.
During our approximately 25 km (15.5 mi) journey, we’ll take in the picturesque views adorned with vineyards, olive orchards, and delightful farmhouses.
A key highlight of our biking experience will be the visit to the historic town of San Martino della Battaglia. Here, we’ll have the chance to explore the striking tower that stands tall in the skyline, a remarkable monument commemorating the Risorgimento—the 19th-century movement responsible for Italy’s unification. The area is framed by breathtaking vistas!
To wrap up this memorable ride, we will visit a warm, family-owned winery nearby. Guests will enjoy a well-earned taste of three carefully curated local wines, showcasing the distinctiveness of the region’s vineyards.
Accompanying the wines, a scrumptious array of snacks will be served, featuring cured meats, artisanal cheeses, and homemade preserves. This is the ideal conclusion to a day rich in nature, culture, and delightful flavors!
