Embark on an exhilarating 9-day expedition through Madagascar, where you'll encounter the country's notable attractions and meet the charming lemurs while strolling along Baobabs Avenue. Tour Overview

Day 1: Antananarivo

Your Madagascar adventure begins! As you arrive, we will welcome you at Antananarivo Ivato International Airport and transfer you to a comfortable hotel in the capital. Take this time to unwind after your journey and prepare for the exciting itinerary that lies ahead.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Andasibe

After enjoying breakfast, we'll set off towards Andasibe. Our first destination will be the Peyrieras Reserve, an ideal spot to delve into Madagascar's incredible biodiversity. Here, you will come across chameleons, frogs, snakes, butterflies, lizards, and, of course, the enchanting lemurs.

We will explore the unique characteristics of each animal and learn about the various lemur species native to the island, as Andasibe is famously recognized as a lemur sanctuary.

In the afternoon, we will visit Mitsinjo Park, another opportunity to discover the diverse wildlife of Madagascar. This sanctuary is particularly well-known for the remarkable Indri lemurs, which are the largest of their kind. Their impressive size is sure to leave you in awe!

As nighttime falls, prepare for a guided night tour through the forest to observe creatures that emerge under the moonlight, perfectly capping off this exciting day.

Day 3: Andasibe

After a revitalizing breakfast, we will continue our exploration of Andasibe. Will we encounter the 11 different lemur species residing in Madagascar's interior? We'll certainly make an effort! Additionally, the morning will be filled with enlightening details about the florals of this Indian Ocean paradise.

Next, we will venture to Lemurs Island and Crocodile Park, allowing us to deepen our admiration for Madagascar's iconic species.

We will return to our accommodations in Andasibe to refresh and relax after our day.

Day 4: Andasibe – Antsirabe

After breakfast, we will depart from Andasibe towards Antsirabe. The journey is adorned with picturesque landscapes as we traverse colorful valleys that will make your trip even more memorable.

Upon arrival, engage in a guided exploration of Antsirabe via rickshaw. Throughout this tour, you will discover why this area is famous for its thermal springs, renowned globally for their healing properties.

Day 5: Antsirabe – Morondava

As dawn breaks and after a hearty breakfast, we’ll venture to one of Madagascar's most iconic sites. Have you heard of Baobabs Avenue? It stands as the most photographed location on the island!

Located in Morondava, Baobabs Avenue is a truly enchanting location. The colossal trees will leave you in amazement. Guided insights will enrich your understanding of this unique African species. Additionally, we will experience the stunning sunset at Baobabs Avenue—be sure to capture the moment!

With exhilaration from our day, we’ll return to our hotel in Morondava for a well-earned rest.

Day 6: Morondava

After breakfast, we'll explore the mangroves and the fishing village of Morondava. We'll navigate through these waters on a traditional boat, taking in the incredible scenery along Madagascar's western coastline.

Later, we will embark on a hiking adventure in the trails of Kirindy Mitea National Park, home of the world’s smallest rat. Will we spot this tiny creature? We will also have the chance to observe various wildlife, including lemurs, amphibians, and reptiles during our hike.

After a day filled with exploration, we’ll return to the hotel to relax.

Day 7: Morondava – Antsirabe

As we near the conclusion of our extraordinary Madagascar tour, we will leave Morondava and head back to Antsirabe. A stop for refreshments and lunch awaits us in Miandrivazo, known for its welcoming atmosphere.

We will arrive at our hotel in Antsirabe by the end of the day.

Day 8: Antsirabe – Antananarivo

After breakfast at our Antsirabe hotel, we will embark on our final journey back to Antananarivo, passing through the Central Highlands of Madagascar—a route that presents one last opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

After roughly 3.5 hours, we will reach our hotel, leaving you with the rest of the day to discover Antananarivo.

Day 9: Antananarivo

On our last morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We will ensure you are taken to Ivato International Airport in time to board your departure flight.
