Akamas National Park Safari

Venture into the wonders of Akamas National Park on an exhilarating safari, where you will encounter the breathtaking Peyia Caves, the impressive Avakas Gorge, and the enchanting Baths of Aphrodite. This journey promises to unveil the natural beauty of Cyprus!

Safari Overview

We will commence our day by picking you up at your accommodation in Paphos at the scheduled time, ready for an unforgettable adventure across the Akamas Peninsula.

Our first stop is the Peyia Caves, remarkable limestone sea caves formed at the junction of the rugged coastline and the azure Mediterranean Sea. As we progress along the coast, you will catch sight of the iconic Edro III shipwreck, a haunting reminder of the sea's power.

Next, we will head to Lara Beach, renowned for its stunning sandy shores. Here, witness the incredible sight of endangered sea turtles that find sanctuary on this pristine beach, offering a rare glimpse into nature’s wonders.

The adventure continues with a trek through the magnificent Avakas Gorge, where towering cliffs and vibrant vegetation create an awe-inspiring backdrop. Following this, we will reach our much-anticipated destination: the Blue Lake. Here you will enjoy 45 minutes of leisure time, perfect for a refreshing swim.

As we journey further, we will explore the Baths of Aphrodite, a lovely lagoon embraced by orange and carob trees native to the Mediterranean region. We will then take you to a local tavern, allowing an hour of free time for a delightful lunch featuring regional flavors.

Before concluding our day, we will stop by the Adonis Waterfalls, where you can take in the surroundings for 45 minutes—offering one last opportunity for a swim or a coffee break.

Our full-day adventure will wrap up as we return to the initial meeting point, concluding approximately 8 hours after our departure.
