Tour of the Distillery

At your chosen time, we will assemble at the entrance of the distillery and commence a guided exploration of its premises, uncovering the legacy and practices of one of Gran Canaria's premier rum producers.

Established in the latter part of the 19th century in the town of Arucas, this distillery adeptly blends traditional techniques of transforming sugar cane juice into rum with state-of-the-art methods. Throughout our journey, we will discover the fascinating background of the distillery as we progress through its various sections.

Your knowledgeable guide will explain the complete rum production process. We will visit the mill, as well as the fermentation and distillation areas, and observe the bottling operation. Impressively, the distillery now boasts over 4,300 barrels due to its recent expansions. To enrich our experience, we will conclude with a sampling of a selection of rums and liqueurs produced on-site, representing the ideal culmination of our visit!

The rums in our tasting have received numerous international accolades. Among them, the 12-year-old Ron Añejo Selección Familiar, which earned the Gold Medal Excellencia 2023; the 18-year-old Ron Añejo Selección Familiar with a Gold Medal in 2023; and the 7-year-old Arehucas recognized in the Excellente category of the latest Peñín Guide.
