Tour Overview

We'll gather at 41 Saelzer Street at the scheduled time. Our journey will commence with an insight into Valdivia's culinary traditions, showcasing the blend of Chilean and German heritages in one of the city’s most notable bars.

Following this, we will proceed toward the historic Pedro de Valdivia Bridge. As we walk, discussions will highlight the impact of German settlers on local architecture, cuisine, and, significantly, the brewing practices. Once we cross the bridge, we’ll take a moment to appreciate stunning views of the Valdivia River and the picturesque landscapes that unfold.

Next, our exploration leads us to the bustling river market, an energetic hub filled with fresh produce that reflects the vibrancy of the river’s influence on Valdivia.

We will then continue to Paseo Libertad, heading towards the Plaza de la República. Here, we will uncover tales of historical battles and pivotal events that have shaped the city’s history.
