Tour Overview
Our adventure begins at Torre di Salignano, where we'll mount our bicycles and set off to explore the wonders of Santa Maria di Leuca. This region was famously referred to as Finibus Terrae (Land's End).
We will embark on a 15-kilometre (9.3-mile) ride, starting with a visit to the Defence Tower, a historical structure built to safeguard the area from Saracen invasions. Next, we'll pedal inland through picturesque villages, tranquil farms, and serene paths filled with natural beauty.
Our journey will take us to Patù, where we will explore the famed Centopietre (Hundred Stones). Are you curious about the historical significance of this enigmatic megalithic site? We’ll share fascinating insights about this legendary landmark.
Continuing our ride, we will visit the medieval fortress of Giuliano, notable for preserving much of its original architecture. Our next destination is Barbarano, home to the Santuario di Leuca Piccola, a sacred site that once served as a haven for pilgrims.
We will conclude our bicycle tour with a delightful stop at the Antica Locanda Retró, where participants can savor a glass of wine accompanied by a selection of local cheeses.
After an enriching three hours cycling through the captivating cape of Santa Maria di Leuca, our adventure will draw to a close.

We'll meet at the designated time at Torre Salignano, located at the following address: Piazza Monza 1, Castrignano del Capo. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

- If you would rather use an electric bike, you will have to pay an additional cost of 15EUR
- On the day of the activity, you can rent a child's seat for 5EUR
- We recommend bringing comfortable clothes and shoes, a towel, a swimming costume, suncream, and sunglasses
