Bird & Crocodile Watching & Sea Turtle Release
Description
Experience the fascinating local fauna of Mexico on this tour focused on birdwatching and crocodile observation while also participating in a sea turtle release!
Bird & Crocodile Observation and Sea Turtle Release
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Huatulco, scheduled between 2 pm and 3 pm. From there, we will travel by minibus to the Ventanilla Lagoon, where a boat awaits us for a soothing cruise through the mangroves of this beautiful natural environment.
During our journey, you will have the chance to spot various avian species soaring above the lagoon while learning intriguing insights about these birds. Following this, we will observe the crocodiles inhabiting the area. As we view these remarkable creatures up close, we'll discuss the challenges of poaching that they have encountered.
After concluding the boat tour focused on bird and crocodile watching, we will proceed to a nearby beach for an unforgettable experience: the release of baby sea turtles. We will discover how female turtles lay their eggs in the sand and the many threats faced by hatchlings as they emerge from their nests months later.
During this activity, we will assist the tiny sea turtles in reaching the safety of the ocean while keeping them safe from potential predators. This is a unique chance to interact with nature and create lasting memories!
Your wildlife tour will wrap up between 8 pm and 9 pm, after which you will be returned to your hotel.
