Day Trip to Bled & Bohinj

Details of the Day Trip

We will gather at the specified time at the entrance of the Eurostars uHotel in Ljubljana before departing from the capital towards the northeast. A brief journey of 50 minutes will take us to our first destination: Bled.

Upon arrival, you will be taken to the shores of the turquoise lake, where you'll have 4.5 hours of leisure time to immerse yourself in the beauty of Bled. An optional visit to the stunning Vintgar Gorge, renowned for its striking landscape, is available.

Additionally, you can experience a ride on a pletna, the traditional Slovenian boat, to the renowned island. At the island, explore the 99 steps that ascend to the baroque-style Assumption of Mary Church.

During lunchtime, be sure to savor a kremšnita, a delightful cream pastry that is a local specialty. It's a treat not to be missed!

After our time in Bled, we'll gather again to travel to Bohinj. Here, witness the majesty of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia surrounded by the stunning vistas of the Julian Alps.

Our final stop will be in Skofja Loka, a charming village situated at the base of the mountains. You’ll enjoy an hour of personal time to wander its lovely streets and discover local traditions.

The excursion will conclude with our return to Ljubljana, dropping you off at the starting point after a total of 10.5 hours.
