Activity Overview
At the designated time, we will gather at Oudezijds Voorburgwal and board a boat that will carry us through the enchanting canals of Amsterdam. Get ready to embark on your adventure!
Known as the Venice of the North, the city features an extensive network of 100 kilometers (62 miles) of canals that separate it into charming islands, all linked by historic bridges.
As we glide along the waterways, the stunning Herengracht, Keizersgracht, and Prinsengracht, Amsterdam's iconic canals, will come into view. We’ll also have the opportunity to admire the spectacular façades that define the canals, which date back to the city’s Golden Age.
Throughout this picturesque boat ride, an English-speaking guide will provide intriguing insights about the landmarks and monuments we observe, including the renowned Magere Brug, a slender bridge over the Amstel River.
The tour will wrap up after one hour back at the original departure point.

During the reservation process, you can select from the following options to enhance your boat experience:
- Boat ride only: Enjoy a scenic tour of the canals without drinks
- Boat ride + open bar: Indulge in the tour accompanied by an open bar service

- From October to March, a covered boat will be used in case of rain
- From April to September, umbrellas will be made available if it rains

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time at the following address: Oudezijds Voorburgwal 230, 1012 Amsterdam, NL. Please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand.
You'll recognise the guide by a blue umbrella with the Amsterdam Guias & Tours logo on it.

- From April to September, in the event of rain, umbrellas will be provided. We recommend that you bring a raincoat
