Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Cambará do Sul, followed by a ride in a 4x4 vehicle that takes you to the initial point of the hiking trail by the Boi River. Brace yourself for an engaging encounter with Brazil’s diverse ecosystems!
Commencing at the Itaimbezinho Canyon, this route will offer a series of diverse challenges. Expect to navigate trails that wind up and down while crossing rocky riverbeds as you immerse yourself in the enchanting forested paths of Cambará do Sul.
Spanning a total distance of 12 kilometers (7 miles), this journey will unveil opportunities to observe the region's vibrant biodiversity. Stay alert for the unique flora and fauna native to the Boi River area as we walk. The highlight of our hike will be the breathtaking arrival at a stunning waterfall.
In this idyllic environment, you’ll have around 2-3 hours to relax, swim in the waterfall pool, and appreciate the lush scenery surrounding you. Our adventure will also include a picnic-style lunch consisting of two sandwiches, a snack, and two pieces of fruit – a delightful way to enjoy a day in nature!
At the end of our journey, we will return to the 4x4 and travel back to your hotel, wrapping up an exhilarating 9-hour exploration of the outdoors.

Given the terrain and river conditions, participants should be in good physical condition to undertake this hiking experience.

- Please note, on rainy days, the river can rise up and the current can become quite strong. As such, conditions may become dangerous and cause the tour to be canceled.
- This activity is not suitable for anybody who has medical conditions, as we hike a demanding route that requires good physical condition.
