The adventure commences at Cabo de Gata beach, near the Fishermen's Association, where you'll hop onto a vintage open-top 4x4 from the 1980s to explore the salt flats and wetlands.

During the trip, you'll see locations featured in various advertisements and films shot in Almería, including memorable scenes for the Porsche 911 Carrera and Conan the Barbarian.

As we venture inland, a stop at an abandoned farmhouse will provide a breathtaking panoramic view of the salt flats and the distant sea, while sharing stories from the region's past, dating back 70 years.

Our next destination is the renowned Cabo de Gata salt flats, celebrated for both their productive capacity and the diverse population of bird species that nest in the wetlands and surroundings. The route takes us through the dunes where key scenes from Lawrence of Arabia were filmed, alongside remnants of the historic mining community related to the salt flats.

Continuing onward, we will pass the Arrecife de las Sirenas and the lighthouse of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, ultimately arriving at the Vela Blanca viewpoint. Here, you'll step out of the vehicle and enjoy ample photo opportunities atop this volcanic landscape. This viewpoint has been recognized by National Geographic as one of the top 20 vistas globally and was historically significant for its watchtowers defending against pirate threats.

We'll return along the scenic tracks, taking time to explore the captivating coves of Cabo de Gata while heading towards the local church and the village of the salt workers.

The excursion concludes at the initial meeting point after approximately 2 hours.
