Day Trip Overview

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel located in downtown Funchal at a pre-arranged time. We will then travel for an hour in an offroading vehicle, heading toward the captivating Rabaçal Valley.

Once in this remarkable setting, you'll experience a 3-hour trek through the rich laurel forest, home to numerous springs, impressive waterfalls, and the renowned levadas de Madeira. Curious about these unique irrigation channels? You will have the chance to uncover their secrets on this adventure! Following the hike, we will return to our vehicle and continue to Paúl da Serra for a meal break.

Subsequently, we will head to Cabo Girão, the tallest cliff in Europe. Here, the glass-floored viewpoint offers a thrilling experience for those not afraid of heights. Take in the breathtaking scenery of the Atlantic Ocean and the picturesque town of Câmara de Lobos.

Your day will conclude as we bring you back to your hotel, marking the end of a memorable 7-hour excursion.
