Camel Ride Overview
Your camel ride, lasting approximately 30 minutes, begins at the picturesque Maspalomas lagoon. We will ascend onto the backs of these uniquely adapted beings, equipped to thrive in hot and arid climates, and set off toward the Maspalomas Nature Reserve.
The dunes host an incredible ecosystem filled with various flora and fauna that thrive in this wild and intricate setting.
The impressive sand mounds, which shift positions over time due to varying wind conditions, will transport you to a scene reminiscent of the Sahara desert. As we continue our journey, you'll observe how the dunes extend all the way to the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Our route concludes back at the original gathering point.
Operating Hours
Camello Safari & Criadero Camellos Fataga operates daily from 9 am to 3 pm; however, it is essential to arrive between 9 am and 10:30 am to enjoy sufficient time for the ride. Please be aware that rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participation Criteria
The minimum weight limit for participants is set at 100kg (220lb).

Important information
The tour begins at the scheduled time at the offices of Camello Safari & Criadero Camellos Fataga, located on Calle Oceania s/n (only some 500 meters from the Maspalomas lagoon). Please arrive early.
Opening Times
The park Camello Safari & Criadero Camellos Fataga is open from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm, but you'll have to come between 9 am and 10:30 am to be able to do the ride with enough time. Please note that the activity takes place on a first come first get basis.
