Tour of the Caracas, Pelton & Santuario Waterfalls

Your adventure begins at 7 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Villavicencio. From there, we will journey in a 4x4 vehicle towards Mesetas, a village celebrated for its marvelous waterfalls known collectively as the Paradise of Waterfalls.

Our first stop will be in the Argentina sector, one of the key areas housing the waterfalls. Here, we will recharge with a hearty breakfast, showcasing a variety of local delicacies. After enjoying this meal, prepare for a guided stroll through the Paradise of the Waterfalls, where we will closely observe the Caracas, Pelton, and Santuario waterfalls.

These majestic falls cascade from heights ranging between 40 to 80 meters (131 to 262 feet), creating a stunning backdrop that will leave you in awe. Notably, these waterfalls remained concealed for decades amidst the jungle due to Colombia's historical armed conflict.

You will have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in the falls, followed by a picnic break amidst nature. This picnic will feature an assortment of local dishes, ensuring a delightful culinary experience. Afterward, we will make our way to a scenic viewpoint, where you can take in the magnificent vistas of the Sierra de Macarena Natural Park, recognized as one of Colombia's most breathtaking natural landscapes.

As the day comes to a close, we will return to Villavicencio in our 4x4, arriving back at your hotel by 5 pm.
