Stretching 54 kilometers (33 miles), the Cares River is renowned as one of the most crystal-clear freshwater bodies in Asturias. If you’re looking to appreciate the vibrant green scenery from a unique angle, this independent kayaking journey down the Cares is an ideal choice.
Departing from Niserias, you’ll enjoy ample time to complete the 22-kilometer (13-mile) course. The gentle flow of the river ensures a smooth paddle, allowing for a relaxed experience as you glide to the endpoint.

Your adventure concludes at the confluence with the Deva River, located in the Cantabrian village of Unquera. Here, a minibus will be ready to take you back to the original meeting location in Pesués.
