Warwick Castle Admission
Situated in the heart of the United Kingdom, Warwick Castle is one of the most significant Medieval fortifications. Founded in 914, it endured attacks in 1264, a siege in 1642, and a fire in 1871, yet it continues to be one of the best-preserved castles in the region.
This castle's historical narrative is multifaceted; it began as a fortification during the Hundred Years War and transitioned in the early 17th century to a country residence under Sir Fulke Greville. Ownership later passed to the Earls of Warwick until 1978, when it was opened to the public.
