Castle Voltaire Ticket
Description
Experience the charm of Castle Voltaire, a true architectural treasure in Ferney-Voltaire, by securing your ticket. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its enchanting gardens while exploring a site that significantly contributed to the enlightenment era.
Castle Voltaire Ticket
Your ticket grants you entry to Castle Voltaire in Ferney-Voltaire, the remarkable residence where the renowned philosopher spent the final two decades of his life. Initially, the town was simply Ferney, later renamed to honor Voltaire's legacy.
Beyond its graceful neoclassical exterior lies a dedicated space that celebrates the philosopher's life. The exhibitions offer insights into Voltaire's daily existence during the Age of Enlightenment. Among the highlights are his private art collection, as well as a glimpse into his library and office, where he penned classic works like Candide and Treatise on Tolerance.
A visit to the Château is incomplete without exploring its stunning French-style gardens, which span over seven hectares. Wandering through these grounds, you will find yourself in a serene oasis, far removed from the fast pace of contemporary urban life.
