Cat Cat Village & Moana Day Trip

Embark on a journey to experience the cultural heritage of Sapa while marveling at its breathtaking views during this expedition to Cat Cat Village and Moana. You have the option to select either a half-day excursion or a full-day adventure that includes reaching the peak of Fansipan, recognized as the "Roof of Indochina".

Trip Overview

We will convene at the renowned Sapa Stone Church at the designated time. Our first destination on this journey will be Cat Cat Village. Let’s begin!

As we explore this village, you will have the opportunity to delve into the traditions of the H’mong community. Stroll through their traditional wooden homes, admire the picturesque waterfalls, and learn about local crafts, including weaving and indigo dyeing. You’ll also get a chance to see examples of their traditional attire.

Next, we will proceed to Moana Sapa. This vibrant and photogenic recreational area, often dubbed the mini Bali of Vietnam, offers unique installations such as the Golden Hand and the Bali Heaven Gate where you can capture memorable photos.

You can take a moment to unwind while enjoying refreshments (coffee, tea, or juice) and soak in stunning views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Time for some photos!

At the conclusion of our time at Moana Sapa, you may opt to conclude your excursion at the Alpine Coaster or return to the original meeting point in Sapa.

The duration of this tour is approximately 4 hours.

Full-Day Journey

If you have more time to spare, consider booking the full-day tour. After exploring the previously mentioned sites, we will embark on a journey to Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina, which stands at an impressive 3,143 meters (10,312 ft)!

Our ascent to the summit will be made via the Muong Hoa monorail and the famed Fansipan cable car, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape.

Upon reaching the top, we will explore a complex of sacred temples, view the majestic Buddha statue, and take in the extraordinary vistas stretching before us.

The full-day exploration concludes with our return to the Sapa Stone Church.
