Description
We'll gather at Praça Luís de Camões at the scheduled time to embark on our hiking journey revealing the petroglyphs of the Coa Valley.
Our adventure begins along the banks of the Côa River, where we will follow trails leading to one of the largest outdoor art collections worldwide, showcasing more than a thousand cave paintings!
Remarkably, this archaeological site has been recognized as a World Heritage Site since 1998. Throughout the walk, you'll encounter depictions of animals like horses, bovids, and human figures, all originating from the Palaeolithic era—truly breathtaking!
We'll conclude our journey back at the initial meeting point, approximately 4-5 hours after we commence the activity.
