Day Trip Overview
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Playa del Carmen at the pre-arranged time. From there, our journey will take us to Chichén Itzá, one of the foremost Mayan archaeological sites in the region.
Upon arrival at Chichén Itzá, you will have the opportunity to delve into one of the most significant remnants of Mayan civilization. This site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 and has been recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World since 2007. Join us as we uncover the reasons behind these impressive accolades!
During our exploration, we will reveal legends and intriguing details while visiting key landmarks such as the iconic Pyramid of Kukulcán, the Temple of the Warriors, the Temple of Venus, and the Great Ball Court. After the guided tour, you'll have some leisure time to wander through the site at your own pace.
Next, we will venture to the famous Hubiku Cenote. Here, immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings that the Maya regarded as the gateway to the underworld. After a refreshing swim, we will enjoy a delightful meal at a local restaurant featuring a traditional Yucatecan lunch with local specialties.
Post-lunch, we will travel to the Maya site of Ek Balam, where the ruins of the Oval Palace await our discovery. We’ll also take in the sight of the Twins, two identical temples, and the tomb of Ukit Kan Le'k Tok, a prominent Ek Balam ruler, to view the impressive frieze adorning its front.
Following our guided tour of Ek Balam, we will head back to Playa del Carmen, arriving at your hotel approximately 12 hours after our initial pickup.

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel at the agreed time. Please be ready at the hotel reception 10 to 15 minutes beforehand.
All participants, including minors, must have an ID card or a copy of it available, as it may be required at the beginning of the tour.
